Our Team

Once a nutritionist, always a nutritionist. After a Chicago career as a dietitian, I came home to Missouri to apply nutrition in new ways, more down to earth – practical in our everyday living. After speaking with Wyatt, a true agriculturist, together….we knew there was a bigger, more important game to play in New Melle, our home town. The pandemic woke us up: “Life is not so predicable and comfortable after all.”  The cargo ships backed up in the Pacific Ocean spoke aloud, “Sustain Yourselves!” “Do not rely on food across the ocean.” The backlog of supplies …. the bare shelves at Schnucks….. the Chinese monopoly on our rations…All loomed large. Life was changing. Wyatt & I agreed; “Let’s get to work, supporting our Boone Country community.”
